Jobs for instrumentation engineers are very vibrant. But put simply and as per my experience I divided it into three parts/sectors.
|CLIENT COMPANIES||EPC COMPANIES||OEM COMPANIES|
I just shared the examples of course; I am unable to cover all of them because there are multiple companies around the world, some are multinational and some are national/local companies.
In this article, I am unable to cover what job profiles for instrumentation engineers look like in the above-classified companies. I will cover this topic with my personal experience in my next article.

And if you are starting a career in the instrumentation field you should definitely have to get into these companies if you want to work in a core instrumentation job.
Personally, I worked in a mid-level EPC company and currently, I am working on the OEM side but I wish that I want to work in the above-listed companies.
